MediaTek Processor Naming Scheme Explained: Smartphones & Laptops

The Realme 11 Pro Plus and Motorola Edge 40 are just two examples of the cheap to mid-range smartphones powered by MediaTek’s recent resurgence in the industry. But MediaTek’s CPU name method is confusing and doesn’t imply anything, in contrast to Qualcomm’s unified naming system.
